Martin Bridge fell in love with the structure and the interior of what was the old pub before he moved in and made his mark on the place. Looking at the Whippet Inn from the outside, you'd be surprised to find what's indoors if you've never set foot inside.
They have a selection of local lagers and changing draughts, and they are renowned for their dry-aged beef too. Here, they've made sure that the interior design, and the 'theatre and flair' that comes as part of the service match up to their high standards. Well, when you're on a road that's off the beaten track, you've got to stand out for something.
“I love it when I walk around on a Saturday night and there's a table eating fish while another might be eating beef - it means people are also coming to us for the atmosphere and the service.”
