St George's Hotel
St. George's Hotel is a beautiful, family run Victorian house located opposite York Racecourse and a ten minute stroll from Micklegate Bar.
We love to furnish our small hotel with antique furniture, original works of art by local artists and interesting artefacts. All our en-suite rooms have comfortable beds, are of a good size and are tastefully decorated. Our deluxe rooms are ideal for longer stays as they are very large and comfortable, have plenty of extra seating and a day bed in the room to make your stay extra relaxing.
We serve a full English breakfast every morning in our sun filled dining room. We cook your delicious breakfast to order and use only the best free-range, outdoor-reared produce from local suppliers. Whislt you wait, you can enjoy a wide selection of cereals, yoghurts and fresh fruits. We serve a pot of freshly ground single origin coffee or a pot of Yorkshire Tea to your table with hot toast, best butter, lovely jams and tangy marmalades.
Your stay in York is our priority and we do everything we can to ensure you have a wonderful time in our beautiful city. We can advise on things to do, restaurants to eat at or recommend our favourite cafes.
