Indie York is thrilled to welcome members and friends to this year’s AGM & Summer Gathering, taking place on Thursday 10th July at the Novotel York Centre. The evening promises to be a vibrant celebration of York’s independent community and a look ahead to an exciting milestone year—Indie York’s 10th birthday.

This annual event brings together the heartbeat of the city—its independent businesses—for an evening of connection, inspiration, and celebration. The night will be hosted by the brilliantly entertaining Dorian Deathly of The Deathly Dark Tours, bringing his unique flair and energy to the occasion.

Kicking off at 6.30pm, guests can enjoy drinks, networking, and indie business stalls before the formal proceedings begin at 7.15pm. The agenda includes key updates from the Indie York team and a panel discussion featuring local independent business owners, who will share their journeys, insights, and experiences from the past year.

The evening will wrap up with more opportunities to mingle, discover new businesses, and strengthen the bonds that make York’s indie scene so special.

Complimentary wine or a soft drink will be served on arrival, with a bar open throughout the evening for additional refreshments.
