Hi, I’m Sarah - I'm a family and branding photographer based in York.

I work closely with people who care deeply about the stories they’re living, the businesses they’re building and the ones they’re loving. I’m a human’s human, bringing the real and I approach all of my sessions as a partnership. If you're a brand, putting yourself out there to provide a product or a service for other people is a huge deal and not only do you want your photography to reflect that, you need it to do that. Having the right kind of images to tell the story of your brand is vital. There’s no doubt that your business is a labour of love, and your imagery should support you to take your people with you.

For families, I work with newborns to great grandparents, catching the layers of family life as they weave in and out of our days. The question that always lies at the heart of deciding to get family pictures is ‘if not now, then when?’ My family sessions are about giving you a space to be together - literally, but also mentally. I’ve got you, and you don’t need to be anything but you. Once I had a review that said ‘it’s you, but on a really really great day” and it’s one of my favourite things to remember.

I offer family and newborn photography, branding for individuals and businesses, and headshots. Sessions can be at home or on location, or at our studio which is based on Castlegate in York.
