Pig & Potato is an independent bistro bar built around honest cooking, quality ingredients and a genuine passion for where our food comes from. We are proud to operate a completely gluten-free kitchen, with no ingredients containing gluten used anywhere in our food preparation. This allows us to offer a safe, relaxed and enjoyable dining experience for guests with coeliac disease or gluten intolerance, without compromise.

We cook from scratch and place great importance on sourcing. Our homemade sausages are a particular point of pride, made in-house using high-welfare pork from Anna’s Happy Trotters Farm in Howden. This commitment to responsible farming, traditional preparation and great flavour runs through everything we do.

Our bistro-led menu offers comforting favourites alongside modern, carefully considered dishes, using seasonal produce wherever possible. Whether you’re joining us for a relaxed lunch, an evening meal or a casual bite with friends, you can expect generous portions, bold flavours and food that’s thoughtfully prepared.

Alongside our food, we offer a well-chosen selection of drinks, including draught beers, wines, spirits, cocktails, and a dedicated range of gluten-free beers, ensuring everyone can enjoy a drink with their meal or at the bar.

In addition to the main bar and dining space, we have a dedicated pool and darts room, adding a fun and social element to your visit. It’s ideal for groups, casual evenings out, or simply extending your stay after a meal, all while maintaining a comfortable and welcoming dining atmosphere.
