Pairings Wine Bar

Sisters Kate and Kelly Latham opened Pairings to show that wine can take centre stage. Their place works in a slightly different way to ordinary bars in that they indulge guests in table service, and they also have plenty of spirits and beers on offer too. Head sommelier Kelly will find out what you like and don't like if you're after a recommendation and they also offer wine experiences, with or without a food pairing.

If ever you need a lesson in how to be creative with cork, head on down to the toilets where the cork signs are made by the sisters' mum and don't forget to look out for Kelly's favourite, Elton John, as he sits on the deli fridge at his piano. She's also made neat hessian wine bags tied with ribbon for anyone taking away a bottle.
