Juicehaus Interiors
Interior design studio with a seasonally rotating handmade homewares shop.
Juicehaus is an interior design studio, homeware shop and community showcase on Bishopthorpe Road, York.
Founded by Amy Twiddle MA, an interior designer passionate about colour, character, and sustainable design, Juicehaus permits people to make their homes their own. Amy’s interior design work takes a more considered approach to creating beautiful, personal spaces, working with what’s already there wherever possible, making thoughtful choices about materials and energy, and avoiding the idea that every home needs to be ripped out and started again. The aim is simple: homes that bring you joy, work well for your lifestyle and reflect the real people who live in them.
Alongside the studio, the shop brings together homeware, vintage finds, handmade pieces and work from independent makers. The Haus Residents are a seasonal rotating showcase, with new makers, artists and creatives bringing something different to the space throughout the year.
Juicehaus is a place to browse, discover, get inspired, talk interiors and hopefully leave with an idea you didn't arrive with.
“I wanted to create the kind of interiors shop I’d actually want to walk into: colourful, welcoming, and completely unintimidating. Somewhere you can find a skilled creative maker, a vintage treasure, an interiors idea, or just have a chat about your wonky spare room! Juicehaus is about permitting people to make their homes their own. Whatever will bring you the most joy when you walk in through the front door at the end of a long day! ”
