Cycle Heaven at the Angel

Perfectly placed neighbourhood cycle workshop on one of York's best-known streets.

Tues - Fri: 8.30 - 17.30
Sat: 9.00 - 17.00

Cycle Heaven at the Angel is a neighbourhood cycle workshop attached to the popular café and bar (also fellow Indie York member) The Angel on the Green. Until 2015, it was Cycle Heaven's main premises for 17 years but the large flagship store has now relocated just over the Millennium Bridge to Hospital Fields Road.

Offering cycle repairs as well as a range of cycling books and essential accessories, Cycle Heaven at the Angel is perfectly located for when you need that all-important bike repair. Amazingly, that store is one of the few cycles shops in the UK to have witnessed the Tour de France pass its front door - now that means it must be special!

“Bishy Road remains our spiritual home as we were founded in 1993 just across the road in the premises which is now Bang Hair. We love the atmosphere which is why we decided to keep a small presence.”
