PechaKucha July 2022 Event

York Creatives and The Arts Barge Project present: PechaKucha Volume 23 - Safe Landing

Taking place at Indie York Member Theatre@41 on 29th July 2022, from 7pm to 10pm, this quarterly event invites local artists, creatives, entrepreneurs and storytellers to give a short presentation on a subject they care about.

PechaKucha 20x20 originated in Japan and is a storytelling format where presenters show 20 images, each for 20 seconds. In other words, they've got 400 seconds (or 7 minutes) to tell a story. PechaKucha events are hosted all over the world, inviting individuals no matter from what background or age to share their ideas, adventures or pathways.

PechaKucha York takes place quarterly and is run by York Creatives and The Arts Barge Project. The events are £5 per person and tickets are limited to 60 people.

Organisers, York Creatives, are always looking for people to present, so if you would like to speak at an upcoming PechaKucha Night please let them know! You don’t have to be a professional speaker, all presentations are from York's grassroots community of artists, creatives, entrepreneurs and storytellers, recalling tales of adventures and lives well lived. To give you a better idea, you can listen to previous PechaKucha presentations here.

Tickets are available from York Creatives' website here.
