Indie York hosts their Mysterious and Magical Trail 2021
Indie York is excited to announce details of our Mysterious & Magical Treasure Trail. Held from Saturday 23th October to Sunday 31st October, over 90 Indie York member businesses are taking part in the trail to promote the city’s independent businesses and highlight our city.
The trail is a socially distanced activity open to all age groups and abilities. We are keen for York residents, visitors to the city and students to get involved. There will be unique clues in participating member windows. Each cluster will have its own set of clues so you can do as many or as few trails as you like. The clusters are: Acomb, Bishy Road, Central York, Fifth Quarter, Fossgate/Walmgate, Goodramgate, Petergate & Stonegate, Micklegate & The Shambles .
You can download the treasure map from our Indie York website www.indieyork.co.uk or pick up a hardcopy in any of the participating member businesses or the Visit York information centre on Museum Street. Once you have the answers to the clues written on your map, you can email in the answers and photos of your party taking part in the trail to Indie York and be entered into a Grand Prize Draw to win a range of prizes including:
- A meal for two at Forest restaurant on Low Petergate.
- A Hornby train set worth £150 from the Monk Bar Model Shop
- A chance to win one of nine £25 York Gift Cards donated by The York BID.
It’s free, it’s fun and it celebrates the many wonderful independent businesses in our beautiful city of York.
