Two Hoots Ice cream boat
Ice cream boat moored by the Millennium Bridge
Just like its sister the Full Moo, Two Hoots was also constructed by owner Steve from an old river push tug from Hebden Bridge and an old ice cream van from Robin Hood’s bay. Every day it opens, it cruises down the Ouse from Fulford to make the usual spot its home for the afternoon.
Sourcing the ice cream from local suppliers, trusty favourites include chocolate and sea salt but there are also seasonal specials like blackberry crumble or peaches and cream.
“I’ve always loved boats and I’ve always loved ice cream. The ice cream boat is fun and it’s in a lovely spot – people even seek us out when they’ve see us from trip boats.”
